We would like to introduce a case study of an injection molding mold (from another company). Due to gas emitted from the resin causing product defects, we processed gas escape channels using a machining center. Since the resin is PC+ABS, we deepened the gas escape channel from the usual depth of 0.02mm to 0.05mm for reinforcement and checked for burrs using our in-house trial machine.
