Solve the problem of clogging and the issue of uneven joints in composite materials!
The automotive parts manufacturer wants to perform honing processing on a workpiece made of a composite material of ELCH2 and SUS304. However, other honing methods have faced issues such as clogging and the creation of steps at the joints of the composite material. Therefore, we propose the "KIP-50" dual-head automatic machine (2 processes). After implementation, a cycle time of 33 seconds per piece was achieved with good processing accuracy.
