Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. Gas Turbine & Machinery Company Gas Turbine Business Center was originally manufacturing impellers using casting, but wanted to process them with higher precision through machining. Naturally, it is essential to avoid tool breakage, machine stoppages, and failures. To minimize the impact on production through reliable pre-checks, we introduced "Vericut." Initially, we primarily used it for 5-axis machining of impellers and brisk components, but now we thoroughly conduct pre-verification with our product in all processes of manufacturing, regardless of whether they involve new or old parts, or 3-axis or 5-axis machining, before actual use on the production floor.
