The savior of the manufacturing site! By conducting simulations, defects are eliminated and the mental burden on the site is reduced.
At Ryobi Limited's Die Casting Division, Hiroshima Plant, the introduction of 3D CAD in the late 1990s prompted the promotion of direct engraving from modeling to molds. Initially, there were frequent machine and tool interferences due to modeling surface defects and CAM bugs causing path omissions. Due to reasons such as "high repair costs if the machine's spindle breaks" and "inability to meet scheduled production if functionality stops," we considered improvements and introduced our 'Vericut.' We have made it mandatory to simulate all NC data created and output by 3D CAD/CAM and incorporated it into the work procedures. As a result, we have achieved dramatic effects, eliminating any issues related to CAD/CAM. [Overview] ■ Issues - High repair costs if the machine's spindle breaks, and inability to meet scheduled production if functionality stops. ■ Results - Achieved dramatic effects, eliminating any issues related to CAD/CAM. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

CGTech is a global leading company in CNC machine simulation software. Its simulation software, "Vericut," is used in various production environments, including the aerospace industry, automotive, railways, molds, home appliances, power generation, and heavy industry, and is highly regarded worldwide. ■ What is Vericut... Vericut simulates using G-code NC programs for machine tools, unlike CAD/CAM system simulations. Vericut supports a wide range of machine tools, including multi-axis machining such as high-efficiency and high-precision 5-axis processing, lathes, multi-tasking machines, and multi-surface machining machines. ■ Pursuing the perfection of G-code NC programs Vericut provides a "virtual machine" that faithfully reproduces in-machine operations such as macro programs, macro variables, ATC operations, and pallet changes in detail. Vericut offers a variety of features, including not only crash detection but also pre-inspection of over-cutting/under-cutting by comparing the machined cutting model with the design model, as well as optimization of NC programs considering tool load.
