SCONA 20097: It is a polypropylene homopolymer grafted with high-purity maleic anhydride. Due to its very low viscosity, it has excellent wetting properties. By blending it, the polarity of polypropylene is increased, improving compatibility with high-polarity polymers such as EVOH. Additionally, it serves as an excellent coupling agent for short and long fiber glass-reinforced polyolefins, enhancing their physical, mechanical, and thermal properties. Furthermore, SCONA 20097 can be used as a coupling agent in natural fiber-reinforced and wood fiber-reinforced composites. This additive has excellent mechanical strength and offers good cost-effectiveness. It also has a very weak odor and low VOC content. PRIEX 20097 is a pellet with good flowability, making it safe and easy to handle.

Recommended Uses - Coupling agent for short and long glass fiber PP applications - Automotive applications - Wood plastic composite materials (WPC) Recommended addition amount: Add 1-4% relative to the total formulation, depending on the fiber/filler content. Addition Method The additive can be added during processing in conventional extrusion and co-extrusion systems for processing polyolefins via volumetric or gravimetric feeders. Special Notes This product can be used at temperatures up to 280°C.
