Picking in under 10 seconds, with a success rate of over 98%! Our unique robotic hand grips and transports items to the designated location.
Based on a request from an automotive parts manufacturing company, we developed a picking robot system. The system measures and recognizes disc-shaped parts that are loosely piled in a bucket using an inexpensive 3D distance image sensor. It grips the parts with a unique robot hand and transports them to a designated location. This development received technical support from the Production Technology Academy at the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Technology Research Institute, Western Industrial Technology Center. [Operation Image] ■ Measurement of the position and orientation of parts using a 3D sensor ■ Identification of parts from 3D distance images ■ Gripping of parts by the robot hand ■ Transporting parts to the processing machine *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
