In ion chromatography with a conductivity detector and suppressor, it is often the case that the calibration curve is not actually linear. Particularly when the calibration curve needs to cover a wide concentration range, applying multiple calibration curves for different concentration ranges can lead to more accurate measurement results. By using MagIC Net software, multiple calibration curves can be created in a single measurement. This means that the optimal calibration curve for all ions is applied, improving the accuracy of the measurement results. This method can be applied to environmental waters such as tap water, seawater, and rainwater.
