- Chrome plating is excellent in wear resistance, lubricity, rust prevention, and corrosion resistance, and is applied to sliding surfaces of hydraulic components and molds. - The hardness of hard chrome plating is specified to be over 750 Vickers hardness in JIS H 8615 industrial chrome plating, but our company has good measurement results of "approximately 1004 to 1086 for SCM440" and "approximately 1049 to 1052 for S45C." 【Plating Material】 ■ Carbon Steel (SS400, S45C) ■ Alloy Steel (SCM, SNCM) ■ Tool Steel (SKS) For other materials, please contact us. 【Hard Chrome Plating Tanks】 ■ Width 2m × Length 4m × Depth 3m ■ Width 1m × Length 2m × Depth 1.5m For surface roughness specified in the drawings, we will carry out polishing and buffing before and after plating to meet those standards. We also perform processing for stripping hard chrome plating only, as well as re-plating after stripping. For those requiring hydrogen embrittlement removal treatment after hard chrome plating, we will conduct baking treatment.
