The AS260 is a pressure control valve developed to control a relatively large flow rate with a not-so-fast response. This valve integrates a booster, nozzle flapper valve, pressure sensor, and control amplifier into a single configuration. It uses the Fairchild model 20 as the booster, and by precisely controlling the pilot pressure of this booster with the NF valve, it achieves high response, high resolution, and a large-capacity pressure control valve. It can be utilized for force control in creep tests combined with cylinders and for the removal of pulsations.
