The ACF-K is a tool exchange unit that allows for easy attachment and detachment of hand tools such as angle grinders, belt sanders, orbital sanders, and die grinders. It enables simple automation with constant control of applied pressure, contributing to labor-saving in your company. FerRobotics' Active Compliant Technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) that occurs during processing in grinding and polishing operations, which require skilled techniques, against dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-flat surfaces at high speed. It also automatically compensates for gravitational loads, allowing for grinding and polishing operations to be performed with a consistently set applied pressure. This technology can increase the speed at which devices and robots move along their trajectories, thereby enhancing processing speed and improving cycle times. Additionally, in robotic polishing and grinding, the ACF itself controls the applied pressure by adjusting its stroke, eliminating the need to move the heavy robot arm for corrections, which further assists in improving the processing speed of robotic polishing. Furthermore, since it automatically compensates for tool load due to gravity, which varies with the angle of the robot, it maintains a uniform applied pressure from any angle, enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies.
