■Filtering Effect MidOpt filters are the best solution for industrial image processing systems, providing perfect control, reliable results, unparalleled reproducibility, and exceptional image quality in monochrome and color image processing systems. ■Optimal Wavelength To select suitable monochromatic LED lighting, optical filters are used alongside white light to test the effects of monochromatic wavelengths. This allows for the determination of specific wavelengths that maximize contrast and separate necessary light from unwanted light, thereby improving resolution. ■Near-Infrared Imaging If the desired image results are not obtained when tested in the visible spectrum, it is recommended to test in the near-infrared (IR). It is impossible for the human eye to judge the results of near-infrared images, as we cannot see the infrared spectrum. However, digital sensors can. ■Fluorescent Imaging To succeed in ultraviolet (UV) fluorescent applications, filters must be used to ensure the detection of fluorescent emissions while blocking UV excitation light. If the wavelength of the fluorescent emission is unknown, an ideal method to determine the suitable filter is to test with a bandpass filter.
