The "PM-type kneader" is a basic type of kneader that continuously kneads humidified materials (primarily materials dewatered by a filter press). The screws inside the sealed barrel feature a combination of two types of blades (which exert a compressive effect) and cut blades (which exert a shearing effect), resulting in remarkable kneading. Moreover, since the materials are continuously kneaded, highly efficient kneading is possible.
