IO Industries' Streams 7 is the latest PC-based video capture software for advanced imaging and testing environments. It is designed to record and process all types of data. It can capture from a wide variety of high-speed CMOS cameras, high-resolution CCD cameras, multispectral and infrared cameras using Camera Link, GigE Vision, CoaXPress, and USB interfaces. An increasing list of supported devices also includes GPS receivers, IRIG-B receivers, and inertial navigation systems.

The user interface of Streams 7 provides independent control, operational status, and data display for each device in a consistent manner. Data can be displayed instantaneously, in time series, or as numerical text for each device type. For video streams, this corresponds to a single frame, thumbnail sequence, and pixel values. Recordings can be started and stopped using various hardware and software triggering methods. Timing methods range from static frame rate control to variable timing control using programmable scripts. During or after recording, events of interest can be marked for quick reference, and the data management tools protect the data while providing convenient access to recordings for playback and analysis.
