BitFlow Aon-CXP
Aon-CXP is a low-cost single-link CoaXPress frame grabber that appears very small but has the same capabilities as its big brother, Cyton. It supports CXP camera speeds of up to 6.25 Gb/S, and as size reduction and costs have drastically decreased, the performance of technology equipped with machine vision components has rapidly advanced. Traditional CoaXPress cameras, which consumed a lot of power and were large and expensive, have now become small, cool, and affordable. The introduction of a single-link camera in a 29mm cube size is here. Despite its tiny size, it can receive data equivalent to 6.25 Gb/S through the link, which is nearly twice the real-world data rate of the USB3 Vision standard and significantly faster than the latest GigE Vision data rates. This means it can capture 2MP images at 300 FPS, and the Acon CXP is designed for the low-cost/high-performance market.

basic information
By pairing a small space type single-link CXP camera with AconCXP, you can achieve the affordability of GigE Vision or USB3 Vision camera systems. They can compete on price, often surpassing cable length, and provide features not found in GigE Vision or USB3 Vision camera systems for host machine vision (triggers, encoders, strobes, waveform generators, orthogonal encoder support, etc.). Furthermore, Aon's advanced DMA engine allows for image transfer to host memory without using CPU resources. The biggest advantage of purchasing a frame grabber instead of a GigE Vision or USB3 Vision camera is that all hardware and software components of the capture system are supplied by a single manufacturer, rather than a disparate collection of separate blocks from different manufacturers like Intel and Microsoft. BitFlow writes the software and firmware code and designs all the hardware.
