[Presentation of Materials] Excellent corrosion resistance and high rust prevention capability! Introducing the surprisingly lesser-known electric tin-zinc alloy plating.
"Electrolytic tin-zinc alloy plating" is used in automotive and aircraft parts due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high rust prevention capability, compared to conventional zinc plating. Single-layer zinc plating faces the issue of rapid wear of the coating, but tin-zinc plating has a smaller potential difference with iron, resulting in a slower progression of corrosion and achieving corrosion resistance. If you are concerned about corrosion resistance and rust prevention, please feel free to consult us. 【Features】 ■ Excellent corrosion resistance and high rust prevention capability ■ Used in automotive and aircraft parts ■ Tin-zinc plating has a smaller potential difference with iron ■ Slower progression of corrosion, achieving corrosion resistance *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Mechanism of Rust Prevention】 <When saltwater spray is applied to a zinc-tin coating> (1) Prior dissolution of zinc occurs (2) Stable zinc compounds accumulate on the surface (3) A tin coating is formed underneath (creating a protective film) Result: Reduced corrosion rate, rust prevention for iron materials *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Daiwa Excel Co., Ltd. has been primarily engaged in electric zinc plating for "complex-shaped" products, starting with the inner surface plating of fuel pipes for automobiles since its establishment. By creating plating jigs tailored to specific shapes, we accommodate the plating processing of complex-shaped products. Furthermore, we have established a mass production line for "electric zinc-nickel alloy plating" to better meet our customers' needs. The inner surface processing technology we have developed so far has accumulated know-how, enabling us to prevent rust on the inner surfaces (inside and both sides) of pipe-shaped and bag-structured products. We have received positive feedback from customers regarding quality improvement and cost reduction, such as material changes proposed through VA (Value Analysis) from SUS material to more easily processed steel. We aim for further improvement in our technical capabilities and will continue to "challenge" ourselves without being bound by conventional ideas.
