Visible light, which can be seen by the human eye, appears in various colors depending on the length of its "wavelength." The wavelength of light that is visible to the human eye ranges from approximately 400nm to 750nm. In contrast, wavelengths below 400nm, which cannot be seen by the human eye, are referred to as "ultraviolet light," meaning light beyond violet. Therefore, while black lights may not seem to emit much light to the human eye, they actually produce a significant amount of "invisible light."
