A "joint sheet" refers to a gasket sheet made by combining various inorganic fibers, inorganic fillers, and rubber. In the past, asbestos gaskets made primarily from asbestos were used, but after the ban on asbestos use, non-asbestos joint sheets, which are relatively more expensive and have inferior performance, are used instead. Non-as is a trademark of Nippon Valqua.
