EVOLASTIC is a highly flexible, backlash-free flexible coupling that allows for the connection of shafts and flanges. The preloaded elastomer absorbs torsional vibrations and shock loads in the drive system. It also efficiently dampens solid-borne sound while simultaneously absorbing misalignments (axial displacement, parallel displacement, angular displacement) that occur between the driving and driven machines. The elastomer, an important component, is shaped into a ring by vulcanizing and bonding rubber and metal. The permissible temperature for natural rubber types (WN, SN, MN) is up to 90°C, while for EPDM types (WE, SE, ME) it is up to 110°C. It is possible to select different rubber hardnesses without changing the size of the coupling. The basic design is broadly categorized into bolt-connected types and plug-in types. Hubs and hubs, or hubs and flanges, can be combined according to the mounting dimensions of the driving and driven machines.
