SAIC Yanfeng is a company located in China that manufactures automotive seats. Measuring instruments are essential for the standardization of product quality management in the automotive seat manufacturing industry. Generally, the high-level standardization requirements for measuring instruments and the small quantities of products make the development or traditional manufacturing processes of measuring instruments costly. Therefore, the company used a 3D printer called "INTAMSYS FUNMAT HT" to create size control parts (in white) for the measuring instruments. The 3D printer enabled the production of a unibody for the control parts, achieving high-efficiency manufacturing that meets the size requirements of the measuring instruments.
