Zero inverter usable at -100℃! Suitable for astronomical observation satellites, infrared telescopes, and other aerospace applications.
"IC-LTX" is a zero-expansion alloy for astronomical observation satellites. The mirror surface is constructed with a "ClearCeram-Z EX" structure, made from a super-invar IC-LTX material with an extremely low thermal expansion rate of <0±5×10^-8/K, achieving thermal dimensional stability and low-temperature resistance. The mirror surface and telescope structure are maintained at approximately 5°C to facilitate adjustments on the ground. The panels surrounding the telescope's 6A surface are temperature-controlled, maintaining the temperature during a half-orbit (50 minutes) with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. [Features] ■ All-metal structure designed for extreme low temperatures, providing stability and high feasibility of design values. ■ The mirror surface and telescope structure are maintained at approximately 5°C to facilitate adjustments on the ground. ■ Temperature-controlled panels surrounding the telescope's 6A surface maintain the temperature during a half-orbit with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. ■ The detector is cooled with a Peltier element, keeping it below 180K. ■ The high-temperature section of the Peltier is connected to a radiator via a heat pipe for heat dissipation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our company started in 1949 as a special steel manufacturing company in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. During this time, we have supported the foundation of Japanese manufacturing as a proposal-based special steel manufacturer, developing metal materials tailored to our customers' needs. Our main product, low thermal expansion alloys, can adjust the coefficient of thermal expansion from zero to 1 ppm. By developing alloys that meet our customers' diverse needs, such as corrosion resistance, machinability, and rigidity, we possess a wide range of low thermal expansion alloy materials and can recommend and provide materials that are suitable for your use.
