【Wet Type】 The main raw material is iron oxide, to which a few percent of strontium is added, mixed with water to create a slurry, and then placed into a mold for pressing. Since the molding is done in a magnetic field, the smallest units of the magnets align in one direction, resulting in an anisotropic magnet. After sintering in a furnace, polishing and cleaning processes are performed to improve the dimensional accuracy of the height. 【Dry Type】 The raw material used is powder that has been granulated, which is then pressed and sintered in a furnace. Although the magnetic force is about 7% lower than that of the wet type, it has the advantage of being able to perform operations such as chamfering during the pressing process, unlike the wet type.
