Key by precision press shearing
This is a key component designed to fit into the key groove of a power transmission device. It is made from SK material, a type of carbon tool steel, and produced through precision press shearing processing. For this key component, the customer requested that the front shearing surface and burrs be minimized as much as possible. However, SK material is known to be prone to secondary shearing. Therefore, our company has achieved the manufacturing of high-precision key components without causing secondary shearing by employing burr-free precision press processing that minimizes burrs and deformation to the utmost limit. Our company is capable of sourcing a wide range of materials, not only common iron and SUS but also from amorphous products to special alloys, and we provide one-stop support from prototype processing of custom shims to mass production. Additionally, based on the data accumulated in our unique production management system, we offer products to customers at appropriate prices. As a result, we also propose cost reduction from the design stage based on past processing data. If you are having trouble with the design and manufacturing of custom shims, please feel free to contact our custom shim manufacturing center.
