Round shim by wire cutting
This is a round shim for FA equipment. The material is SUS304, and high-precision wire cutting is performed on the holes and outer circumference where there are tolerances. This round shim was processed by sandwiching multiple stacked blanks with thicker steel material, reducing vibration during processing caused by cutting fluid injection. Additionally, since there were tolerances on both the holes and the outer circumference, the holes were processed in four stages to enhance finishing accuracy. Two starting holes were set on the outer circumference, and cutting was done in four stages by dividing it into two parts. After that, the excess was trimmed, and the part with a negative tolerance at the center was corrected with a file.
