A small amount of powder (0.2 ml) can be evaluated for its dynamic flowability index, known as powder transferability, in a short time (within 5 minutes).
Ideal for measuring powders such as toner, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. A measurement device that quantifies the dynamic flowability of powders. We have obtained a patent for a linear vibration transfer type powder flowability measurement device. (Patent number: Patent No. 6994621, Name: Flowability Evaluation Device) <Comparison with our conventional measurement device> - Required powder amount: 0.2 ml, 1/10 of conventional - Required measurement time: 5 minutes, 1/5 of conventional

basic information
<Measurement Principle> By applying progressive wave vibrations to the powder and transporting it through an ascending zigzag pathway while aligning it, the transport speed is quantified as an indicator of the powder's dynamic flowability. This method allows for the evaluation of small amounts of powder in a short time with good reproducibility. Compared to our conventional measurement devices, this system is more compact, reduces evaluation time, and improves reproducibility.

Applications/Examples of results
This is a new product that significantly simplifies handling, reduces measurement time, and improves reproducibility, based on our experience and achievements with the conventional vibration transfer type fluidity measurement device. As with the previous model, we would be grateful if toner manufacturers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and cosmetic manufacturers could try it out.
Company information
Leveraging our experience in the design of developing processes related to electrophotography and the manufacturing of developing materials, we manufacture and sell measuring devices for the flowability and charging characteristics of powders, including toners and developers. Our flowability measuring devices have also received positive feedback in the pharmaceutical industry for evaluating flow properties and in the food industry for filling efficiency. Additionally, our charge measurement devices are unique in that they provide measurement results that can be directly utilized as characteristics of toners and developers, closely resembling evaluations in actual electrophotography equipment. We also offer demonstration measurements, so please feel free to reach out to us.
