It converts the output to USB 3.0, allowing for immediate use when connected to a PC. *Please do not use power for both the camera and the USB board simultaneously. If you need to use both, please supply power from only one source.* The USB 3.0 tail board is specially designed for our digital camera module and the SONY FCB digital camera module. It converts LVDS to USB 3.0 output, automatically recognizes HD signals, and supports cameras from other brands that use the SONY VISCA protocol.
