Place a fan pad on top of a cutting board (cork board). 2. Remove the organ from the 10% formalin fixation solution and rinse with water. After thoroughly draining, place it on the pad. 3. During cutting, absorb and neutralize the formalin released from the organ to prevent the irritating odor of formalin gas.
