This revolutionary IR lens serves as an alternative to traditional expensive diamond-cut IR lenses (Si, Ge) and features enhanced thermal properties. In particular, the long focal length high-sensitivity type is expected to be applied in sensors, such as for enhancing vision in autonomous vehicles, thermal imaging cameras, and thermal eyes. There is also potential for use in unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and other applications.
