A food company consulted us about a system to measure and record noise generated in their factory. We proposed the "Noise Monitoring System" manufactured by Rion. After installation, we made adjustments such as setting the measurement angles and started measuring and recording. As a result, we were able to remove noise from vehicles that was captured before the adjustments from the recordings, allowing us to measure and record only the noise generated by the factory. 【Points】 - The noise measurement microphone is designed for all-weather use and is installed outdoors near the property boundary. - Measurements are conducted to identify the sound source location in three dimensions using a directional microphone and a dedicated identification device, distinguishing between noise generated by the factory and external noise. - Measurement data is collected using dedicated software and managed in a database.
