We proposed the optimal specifications in response to Company K's request to "automate a centrifuge on a low budget."

From K Company, a chemical manufacturer: "The filter press currently used in our existing building does not achieve a good dewatering rate, so we are considering a centrifuge. We want to automate the centrifuge, but the strength of the existing building is insufficient to install it on the second or third floor. However, we do not have the budget to rebuild the building, and we need a fully automatic machine that can be installed on the first floor." In response to this inquiry, we proposed and delivered the DIBUC model of a fully automatic suction-type centrifuge that can be installed on the first floor of the building. 【POINT】Suction transport that does not require a specific installation location ■ Equipment can be installed on the first floor The DIBUC, which features an upper suction discharge type, is a machine that simultaneously scrapes and sucks the cake after filtration and dewatering, transporting it to the next process. ■Cake suction testing is possible It is possible to confirm the feasibility of cake suction transport, which is a concern with cake suction discharge, in advance using a 20L size test machine. ■Prevention of cake discharge blockage The delivery machine has been upgraded to a larger capacity of 613L compared to the test machine, allowing for multi-stage scraping and speed control with an inverter-controlled scraping device to prevent the suddenly scraped cake from blocking the suction inlet. As a result of this delivery, we were able to significantly reduce investment costs, and the dewatering rate increased compared to filter presses, leading to a reduction in personnel involved in cake recovery. ■When the amount of cake scraped by the scraping device exceeds the amount discharged through the suction pipe, the pipe opening becomes buried in the crystals. However, in this machine, even in such cases, when the basket rotates, the crystals are pushed aside by the pipe, creating a void behind the pipe where there are no crystals. This void continuously supplies an appropriate amount of air to the suction pipe, allowing for smooth suction of the crystals collected in the groove without blocking the pipe.
