Our company designs and manufactures custom keyboards tailored to our customers' specifications. Here, we would like to introduce a case requested by a customer. 【Overview】 ■Background We implemented a custom POS system by combining commercially available laptops, displays, and thermal printers, using it as an input terminal for the POS. ■Key Points of Implementation We adopted the "Nyushukka" software for the cash register. This software allows all processes to be operated via shortcuts, so we were looking for a keyboard that could easily register and use shortcuts. → The decision to implement was based on the reasonable number of 30 keys and an affordable price. ■Implementation Effects By introducing the keyboard for POS use, we achieved a reduction in implementation costs with the original POS system.
