• Parallel simultaneous processing using up to 6 tool turrets is possible. <4 on the spindle side, 2 on the counter spindle side> • Tool change time = effectively 0 seconds: By rotating the tool turret, tool changes can be made concurrently during processing. • Compared to a single-spindle automatic lathe with a standard counter spindle, productivity is approximately 2 to 3 times higher. • The modular structure of the tool turret allows for easy retrofitting and replacement. • The quick-change system enables rapid installation and exchange of fixed or rotating tools without the need for adjustment work. • Short setup times allow for economical production even with small batch sizes. • High machining stability and reduced tool wear are achieved through the damping characteristics of the hydrostatic bearings. • Good chip flow can be realized by eliminating components that hinder internal coolant or free-falling chips. • The integrated cooling system option, which can be connected to existing factory cooling equipment or active coolers, enhances energy efficiency. • Maximum rigidity and stability are achieved through a self-supporting frame structure and a three-point installation method.

The innovative machine concept of ECX consistently achieves simultaneous processing and reduction of non-processing time based on the technology established in the multi-axis automatic lathe SCX series. The interface system (optional) allows for the quick and accurate exchange of individual devices, and the quick change method for tools and turrets enables easy conversion or addition. Main spindle: Supports arbitrary combinations of fixed and rotating tools. A 3-direction indexing tool turret unit capable of accommodating up to 4 units. - The shortest tool turret indexing time with a high-torque motor. - Links the movements of the main spindle and turret to reproduce processing similar to the Y-axis. - Fast chip-to-chip processing, efficiently reducing processing time. Counter spindle: - Supports arbitrary combinations of fixed and rotating tools.
