■CO2 emissions per ton of ink: approximately 2.17 tons reduction The emission coefficients for waste and the use of raw materials are based on waste oil at 2.92 tCO2/t and waste plastic at 2.55 tCO2/t (according to the Ministry of the Environment). Assuming that the oil component in the ink is 35%, the plastic components such as pigments and resins (excluding rosin) are 45%, and biomass is 20%, the CO2 emissions from waste ink are calculated as 35% × 2.92 + 45% × 2.55, resulting in 2.17 tCO2/t (2.17 tons of CO2 are generated from the incineration of 1 ton of ink). *Since the biomass content of the non-volatile off-line ink manufactured by our company is 20%, 20% of the waste amount is deducted as carbon neutral.
