The "QHK-1" is a bare fiber adapter that can be used directly after stripping or cleaving the coating with a commercially available fiber holder (just insert the fiber). There are two types of capillaries: SC type (outer diameter φ2.5) and SMA type (outer diameter φ3.172), and even if the fiber extends long from the holder, the V-groove guides it easily into the ferrule hole.
