[Case Study] Improvement of Capabilities through Food Enhancement

Food suction efficiency increased by 25%! Here we introduce a case where efficient collection became possible due to the flange effect.

There were issues with the external hood's suction power being weak (insufficient airflow control), making it difficult to bring the hood closer to the dust generation point, which affected work and resulted in an inability to fully capture the generated dust. Therefore, we checked the state of the airflow from the hood and the wind speed at the dust generation point. We added a flange to the opening of the hood. As a result, we controlled the necessary airflow through improvements to the hood, enhancing its suction capability.
