We would like to introduce a case where switching from fully machined products to lost wax casting achieved cost reduction and weight reduction. The customer in question was struggling with high processing costs for parts being machined from blocks (difficult-to-cut materials) and wanted to reduce weight due to their heaviness. After reviewing the customer's drawings and intended use, we proposed a shape that could reduce processing man-hours.
