Before the introduction of Shirabanka, they were broadcasting video via Skype that captured both the whiteboard and the instructor. However, due to reflections from fluorescent lights and issues with video quality, it was difficult for participants to see the writing on the board. Therefore, they decided to implement Shirabanka, which allows for clear display of the whiteboard writing on the PC screen.
