Our original Osprovit coating is manufactured using the air plasma spray production process we established, and when applied at the recommended thickness of 30 to 150 microns, it provides the adhesive strength required for application to implants (over 15 MPa). It is typically applied in a single layer, but high-quality double coatings using titanium for the lower layer and HA for the upper layer are also possible. Osprovit is usually produced as the top HA layer when a two-layer coating under vacuum is required. This application combines the bioactive properties of HA with the long-term mechanical stability of porous titanium. There is a substantial amount of biological and clinical evidence confirming the optimal biocompatibility and long-term clinical safety and efficacy of Osprovit.
