Light distribution control and brightness uniformity mitigation according to application is possible! A transmittance of over 95% can be achieved.
The "diffuser" is a component used to disperse the light from a light source and is incorporated into devices such as laser projectors. The diffusers from Yamamura Photonics are made of glass, providing a higher transmittance compared to resin diffusers, and they are excellent in light resistance and heat resistance. By applying a unique special surface processing technology, fine unevenness is created on the surface of the glass plate, achieving diffusion of transmitted light through random refraction. Since all processing is done in-house, it allows for precise adjustments of the diffusion angle according to the customer's usage conditions, enabling light distribution control and mitigation of brightness unevenness according to application. 【Features】 ■ High transmittance ■ High heat resistance ■ High light resistance ■ Custom design support *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Since its founding in 1949, we have developed our business based on the glass material technology and glass-to-metal sealing technology (GTMS) cultivated through glass products for vacuum tubes. Building on this accumulated technology, we have also aligned our innovations from vacuum tubes to semiconductors, and as a result of continuously providing various components that respond to the integration of light and electronics, our technology has now borne fruit in three business areas: "glass components for electrical and electronic devices," "optoelectronics packaging components," and "glass ceramics (LTCC)."
