Achieving high-precision glass tubes suitable for use as mechanical parts! Also compatible with additional processing of commercially available glass tubes.
A glass tube that has been considered difficult to use as a mechanical part due to the precision of its outer diameter tolerance. At Yamamura Photonics, we have achieved high-precision glass tubes that can be used as mechanical parts by precisely controlling the outer diameter tolerance through our unique processing technology. Our high-precision glass tubes are individually fine-tuned by skilled artisans during processing, and we can also accommodate additional processing of commercially available glass tubes, which is challenging with machining. They are used in applications that require high outer diameter tolerance, such as electrode tubes for ozone generators and glass tubes for office automation equipment. 【Features】 ■ High-precision outer diameter processing ■ Achieves outer diameter tolerance at a level suitable for use as mechanical parts ■ Processing of our own glass tubes and commercially available glass tubes (hard/soft glass) ■ Taper processing is also possible, accommodating glass tubes of various diameters and lengths according to your needs ■ Standard samples: All custom-designed *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Since its founding in 1949, we have developed our business based on the glass material technology and glass-to-metal sealing technology (GTMS) cultivated through glass products for vacuum tubes. Building on this accumulated technology, we have also aligned our innovations from vacuum tubes to semiconductors, and as a result of continuously providing various components that respond to the integration of light and electronics, our technology has now borne fruit in three business areas: "glass components for electrical and electronic devices," "optoelectronics packaging components," and "glass ceramics (LTCC)."
