Safe and quick mold (cavity) changes to accommodate small lot sizes and a variety of products. Cost benefits from reduced mold change time.
The Asano Research Institute's vacuum forming machine, the "FLB Series," is designed to accommodate a wide variety of small lots, ranging from industrial trays for blister containers and electronic components to food containers. Recently, we have also focused on the development of "vacuum pressure forming," and the "micro-pressure type" is available as an option. By standardizing the water-cooled base and enabling easy attachment and detachment of the cavity, we can significantly reduce the mold change time per cycle. The forming table and sheet feeding utilize AC servo motors, and the heater section is equipped with quick-response heaters. A traveling knife cutter is standard equipment, allowing for cutting with each shot. **Features of the FLB Series** - Achieves safe and rapid metal exchange - Prevents the generation of plastic debris with a grip-type chain - No need to replace the water-cooled base according to sheet width - Quick and safe cavity exchange - Equipped with a multifunctional touch panel - Option for "micro-pressure type" available *Product information can be viewed in the catalog available for [PDF download]. As a pioneer in vacuum forming machines, Asano Research Institute has been committed to developing, designing, and manufacturing equipment that enhances operability, produces better molded products, and improves productivity while reducing production costs, all from the customer's perspective. In the Planning and Development Department, we have permanently installed test forming machines (one for cut sheets and one for roll sheets) to assist customers with the development of new items and products, as well as problem-solving. We support the entire process from test mold design and manufacturing to sample molding, and subsequently to the development, design, and manufacturing of production machines (including production mold design and fabrication). In the Service Department, we also carry out modifications to replace the ceramic heaters of forming machines with our company's quick response heaters, helping to reduce electricity costs and increase productivity.
