Safety Measures Mirror Implementation Case: Preventing Collisions in Poorly Lit Hallways!
Half Dome Mirror
Introducing customer feedback! A case study of installing mirrors in a nursing and welfare facility to improve visibility in poorly lit corridors (Asunaro Gakuen, Kitamoto City).
We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Asunaro Gakuen in Kitamoto City. There are individuals in the facility who have walking difficulties and use canes. One person had previously fallen after being bumped from behind while walking in the corridor, and another had a head-on collision with someone who suddenly turned a corner, causing them to fall. In response to this person's request, we installed mirrors in the poorly visible corridor. After installation, we received feedback saying, "I used to be scared to walk here, but now that there are mirrors, I feel safe." [Case Study] ■ Product Used: Half Dome Mirror ■ Customer Feedback - When walking with individuals with disabilities, we check the mirrors to ensure there are no people around, and if there are, we sometimes ask them to stop to avoid sudden collisions. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, as well as to show "consideration" for others. For example, one can check with the mirror to see if anyone is coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to check if someone is trying to get on an elevator and wait for them... Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful all over the world, from convenience stores to airplanes.
