In bacterial food poisoning, Campylobacter food poisoning has the highest number of reported cases, making it the second most common after norovirus in overall food poisoning incidents. In food testing, Campylobacter is isolated after selective enrichment culture on selective media. If colonies suspected to be Campylobacter appear, it takes about 4 to 5 days for confirmation tests to be conducted. Additionally, since Campylobacter prefers microaerophilic conditions, a specialized gas generator is required. Using "71531 Campylobacter Stomach Bags" for enrichment culture can create microaerophilic conditions.
