Research utilizing the "microwave processing equipment" handled by our company has been published in the Medical Rice Association Research Grant Report "Medicine and Food" vol. 13 No. 5. Microwave treatment of brown rice is an important technology related to the sterilization of brown rice, removal of insects, enzyme inactivation, reduction of brown rice odor, and the long-term stability of brown rice, especially brown rice flour. Therefore, we conducted processing tests using the microwave processing equipment manufactured by Nihon Haicom, specifically the experimental conveyor type (VHC-16+8-8), on the 2019 crop Koshihibiki brown rice produced in Niigata Prefecture.
