A mid-sized Swiss company that manufactures trolleys for serving and meal distribution had trolleys equipped with Progressus casters sold to a large university hospital in Switzerland. Since the meal distribution trolleys will soon go through a fully automated cleaning line, it was necessary to make technical modifications to the swivel casters that were being used. The company requested to add a special directional locking latch to the Progressus casters. As a solution, we upgraded the old model of the sealed swivel section to a new model of swivel caster with a directional locking latch. By making modifications to the existing swivel casters, we were able to provide a streamlined custom solution based on standard components.
