Our company produces various types of paperboard with a thickness of approximately 0.3 to 3 mm (such as chipboard, yellow board, and coated white board). The raw materials for the paper are mainly recycled paper from cardboard, magazines, and newspapers, as well as pulp made from wood. Additionally, our factory operates 24 hours a day, recycling about 160 tons of old paper into new paper each day. Our company’s predecessor, Nisshin Seishi Co., Ltd., was established in Okayama in 1936 with the aim of effectively utilizing the empty wheat bags generated by the factories of Nisshin Seifun Co., Ltd. Subsequently, as times changed, it became difficult to collect the raw material, rice straw, and we have since transitioned to using recycled paper (such as cardboard and magazines) to produce various types of board paper. Additionally, we have established our own wastewater treatment facilities to prevent pollution and are actively engaged in environmental conservation.
