At the "Fiscal Year 2021 Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Promotion Awards," Uenotex received the "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award." I believe that the contribution of our environmental equipment manufacturing and development, including URANOS, has been recognized. URANOS is an AI-equipped waste sorting robot that can identify the characteristics and shapes of waste, enabling high-quality sorting. [Publication Content] 3R Promotion Contribution Award Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award for the First Domestic AI Automatic Sorting Machine The Cabinet Minister Award recognizes the technology for reusing grinding materials. This year's "3R Promotion Contribution Award," organized by the 3R Promotion Council, has announced the recipients of 25 awards, including various ministerial awards and the Chairman's Award. The Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award was given to Uenotex for its promotion of 3R through the manufacturing and development of environmental equipment, including the 'URANOS,' a fully in-house developed automatic waste sorting device equipped with AI, the first of its kind in Japan. The awards were supported by seven related ministries: the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Ministry of the Environment.
