[Case Study] Major Stationery Manufacturer

All products that are manually assembled at overseas factories for stationery supplies will be fully automated!

We would like to introduce a case study that solved the challenges faced by a major stationery manufacturer. The company requested our assistance from the Automation Production Technology Department to develop a high-spec automatic assembly line. We worked on automating the processes that were currently being done manually, step by step. First, we proposed ways to increase the takt time and achieve labor savings while utilizing the designs that had previously been created for standalone machines. As a result, the line that previously required about 50 workers for manual assembly now only needs around 5 machine assistants. The former workers have moved to other processes and workplaces, resulting in a fourfold increase in production capacity and achieving a mass production system.
