Sekisui Vinyl Foam is a thick, single-layer independent bubble foam that has been expanded about 10 times using a unique manufacturing method with polyvinyl chloride resin.

Moreover, it retains the properties of polyvinyl chloride even after foaming, demonstrating outstanding performance in weather resistance and chemical resistance. Features Lightweight and Strength The PVC resin is foamed to about 10 times its original volume, making it very lightweight while possessing excellent tensile and tear strength. Flexibility and Resilience Thanks to our unique foaming technology, it has finely uniform independent bubbles, providing a light, flexible, and soft feel. Additionally, it offers outstanding cushioning properties. Shock Absorption Due to the spring action of the air within the independent bubbles, it has excellent shock absorption, and its low foaming prevents sagging. Thermal Insulation With a closed-cell foam structure made up of countless independent cells, it has very low thermal conductivity, demonstrating excellent insulation effects. Buoyancy and Non-Absorbency The independent bubble structure provides high buoyancy and absorbs almost no water or moisture. Weather Resistance Compared to other plastic foams, vinyl foam has excellent weather resistance and is used in durable products. Hygienic It does not corrode, preventing the growth of mold and bacteria. It also meets the Food Sanitation Law No. 434 inspection standards. Workability It can be easily processed in various ways, including slicing, punching, cutting, welding, printing, fusing, and gluing.
