Always charge it while it is attached to the compatible specific low-power transceiver. When charging while attached to the radio, make sure to turn off the power before charging. This rapid charger set includes a charging dock and an AC adapter. The full charging time for the rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery FNB-148 is approximately 2.5 hours.
