For the first time in the MB301 series, both FeliCa and Mifare are supported in a multi-format. For entry and exit management, the speed of authentication for both facial recognition and body temperature measurement has significantly increased, eliminating annoying error announcements like "Please stand closer." While the MBT-300/M was compact, it weighed 1.5 kg and had a separate thermal camera and main unit, resulting in visible cables from the back. The MBT-301-F features an integrated design, allowing the main unit to fit snugly against the wall, improving security. Concerns about the weight and mounting plate of the MB-300/MF have also been resolved. The MB-300/MF, the first outdoor-compatible facial recognition terminal ever released, has a WDR function that is resistant to sunlight, with an ON/OFF setting available. Although the manual states to "avoid direct sunlight," it has been used without issues in actual field conditions.
